Salon Policy

Salon Etiquette

 

***Please make sure to thoroughly read all terms and conditions prior to booking your appointment!***

It is your responsibility as the client to make sure that you understand and agree to all terms before booking.

​

Hair & Supplies

 

As a convenience to my clients, all products and supplies needed for your service are provided (excluding hair). Each individual client is responsible for providing their own braiding hair.

​

If you have any allergies to specific products that may interfere with the services being provided please inform me when booking your appointment.

​

Hair Requirements

On the day of your appointment, your hair must be at least 4 inches all around.

 

To be respectful of both the stylist and clients time, please ensure that all previous braid styles are completely removed before your appointment. Failure to do so will result in cancellation of your appointment and a 100% charge of your remaining balance, as it will be too late to give another client that time slot.

If you wish to have your previous braid style removed at the Salon, ensure that you are booking a takedown. (Take downs are only available on Mondays)

​

  It is the client's responsibility to ensure their hair is clean, free of any products, debris, knots and tangles, completely dried and stretched. Failure to do so will result in added charges or the cancellation of your appointment.

​

If you wish to add a Shampoo and Blow dry, please do so when booking your appointment.

​

Expectations

The client is the only person allowed to be in the Salon while being serviced (there are no extra guests allowed. no exceptions).

​

Totally Blessed Hair Salon is unique from other Salons, we provide a warm welcoming environment so that every client has an exceptional experience. Please refrain from using profanities, rude, or harsh language while you are being serviced.

​

You are welcome to use your laptop or phone as entertainment while you are being serviced (if you choose to do so, please use ear pods or headphones so that the other guests are not disturbed). 

​

 Feel free draw inspiration from photos of my own work or others work. However please understand that while they can be shockingly similar, styles cannot be identically replicated. Every head shape and texture are unique to each individual

Cancelations

No Call  No Show will result in a 100% nonrefundable charge of your remaining balance. You will thereafter no longer be able to book any services with me.

​

I do understand that life happens, in the event you need to cancel your appointment you must do so within 48 hours prior to your appointment date, Failure to do so will result in a 100% charge of your remaining balance. This charge will not transfer to a new appointment and is nonrefundable.

Appointment Time

​

*Please be on time to your appointment.

​

My Station is sanitized before and after every client, to allow time for this please arrive no more than 10 minutes prior to your appointment. 

​

All appointments have a 10 minute grace period meaning within this 10 minute frame no added charges will be incurred.

​

At the 11-minute mark a $15 late fee will be added to the total cost of your service. Your appointment will be canceled if you are 20 minutes late (no exceptions).

 

This means that if your appointment is at 10:30 you have until 10:50 to be seated for service. At 10:51 you will have to reschedule.

​

Please understand that this policy is in place to assure that every client enjoys their experience, and no one gets started behind schedule. Please communicate that you will have a late arrival.

​

Scheduling Fee

​

*A Scheduling fee is required to reserve your appointment. This scheduling fee varies according to each service. (All scheduling fees are counted towards your final cost).

 

If you wish to reschedule you must do so within 48 hours prior to your appointment. Failure to do so will result in a 100% charge of your remaining balance.

 

You are able to reschedule your appointment ONE time as a curtesy, if you have to reschedule a second time, a separate scheduling fee will be required to book.

Appointment Calendar

​

*My appointment book opens monthly. You will not be able to book any appointments for the following month until the 20th of the previous month. If a date is not on the calendar, it is not available.

​

Precautionary Measures 

​

It is of the upmost priority to ensure the safety of all salon guests as well as myself.

​

*It is preferred that you wear a mask while receiving services.

 

​ If you are under the weather (coughing, sneezing, fever) please reschedule your appointment.

 

If you have any breakouts or open sores on your scalp or otherwise, please reschedule your appointment.

​

If you are treating or have treated lice etc. recently, please reschedule your appointment.

 

You will be asked to leave the Salon if you come to your appointment with any of these symptoms. Because I will not be able to give this appointment time to another client, this will result in you still being charged 100% of your remaining balance.

*The Address to the Salon will be sent to you in your confirmation email and is also on the website.

​

All communication will be done via email.

​

Should I need to reach out to you before the appointment for any reason (Please ensure that the contact information you have provided is correct)

​

 Styling

*Please ensure that you have booked the correct style as no style changes can be made after you have booked (this includes braid type, size and length)

​

*Please read the service description for the exact style you are desiring to book. If you do not see the style listed, it is likely that I do not provide that specific service.

 

You can however inquire about a service through email. when making inquiries please be as detailed as possible and provide pictures if you are able to do so.
